exhaust leak

If you smell fuel or gas inside your cabin and also on the outside (not the usual exhaust smell), you may have an exhaust leak.

Inspect the exhaust  and fix it.

leaking fuel pump

If you hear a strong smell of fuel, the fuel pump may be leaking. Open the cover and inspect it.
if you don't feel comfortable, take it to a mechanic to inspect it, he will better diagnose it and test it if necessary.

 

bad remote lock module

If non of the before mentioned works, replace the module box with a new one or aftermarket one.
